The International Finance Corporation (IFC) Country Office in Thailand had existing premises located on the 28th floor of Siam Tower, Bangkok, occupying a total space of 500 sqm. To accommodate a rise in staff numbers the IFC took a lease on the neighboring unit on the same level, allowing them to expand their interior space by 65%. Orbit Design was engaged to provide architectural, interior design and engineering services to help facilitate the complete fit-out of the new office space to their latest global standards, including a new enlarged reception area, new meeting rooms, and a complete upgrade of the existing office facilities.

For the design concept we selected three keywords that represent IFC core values- Transparency, Connection & Sustainability, embedding them into spatial planning, materials and textures so that both visitors and staff could absorb them on an Instinctive level, reinforcing the mission and ethos of the World Bank Group
